Recently, Lancet Respiratory Medicine published a single-arm, multicenter Phase II registration study of patients with advanced or intolerant EGFR exon20ins mutant advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with platinum-containing chemotherapy.The study showed an objective response rate (ORR) of 61% after evaluation by the Independent Imaging Evaluation Commission (IRC), which also demonstrated the high efficacy and low toxicity of schwortinib in treating advanced NSCLC with EGFR exon20ins mutations.
EGFR Exon20ins mutation accounts for about 12% of EGFR mutations, due to its special spatial configuration, strong heterogeneity, lack of safe and effective targeted treatment, and short survival benefits for patients.
As the first national innovative drug for EGFR exon20ins mutant advanced NSCLC, Schuvotinib is an oral, irreversible, highly selective EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) for multiple EGFR mutant subtypes.

The study showed that ORR was as high as 61% in 97 patients treated with schwortinib, breaking through existing treatment bottlenecks.EGFR exon20ins have more than 100 mutant subtypes in NSCLC, making single drug treatment challenging.With its unique and flexible molecular structure design, Schwortinib observed clear anti-tumor effects in multiple EGFR exon20ins mutant subtypes, with ORRs above 50%.
